Your custom orders, produced as if the bench were yours.
Design, CAD, casting, setting and finishing for independent jewellers. One point of contact, your approval at every stage, a QC report with every piece and insured delivery to your door.
From sketch to shipped, in seven stages.
Select a stage to see what happens, what you receive and how long it takes. A bespoke piece typically takes four to five weeks from brief to counter, less when CAD is already in hand.
Brief
- What happens
- We take your client's sketch, reference images or the conversation you had at the counter and write a production specification: metal, dimensions, stone layout, finish, size, marking and delivery.
- You receive
- A one-page specification and a quote, landed to your door.
- Your part
- Confirm the spec or send changes. Nothing moves until you approve.
Design
- What happens
- Proportions are resolved against the centre stone and the budget. Shank width, claw style, gallery height and stone sizes are set so the piece wears the way your client imagines it.
- You receive
- A design sheet with dimensions and estimated metal weight.
- Your part
- One round of comments, usually with your client in the room.
CAD
- What happens
- The piece is modelled in 3D and rendered from three angles in the specified metal, with the stone's actual measurements. Two revision rounds are included.
- You receive
- Renders you can show your client under your name. The STL file on request.
- Your part
- Approve the renders. This is the last change before metal.
Casting
- What happens
- A resin or wax model is printed from the approved CAD and cast in 14 kt or 18 kt gold (yellow, white or rose) or platinum 950. The casting is cleaned and pre-polished.
- You receive
- Photographs of the raw casting on request.
- Your part
- Nothing. We check the casting against the spec before it goes to the setter.
Setting
- What happens
- Stones are set under the microscope. The centre stone comes from your parcel or from our sourcing. Claws are shaped to the design and checked for security and symmetry.
- You receive
- Setting photographs before finishing, so you see the stone seated.
- Your part
- A quick look. Most jewellers forward the photographs to their client.
Finishing and QC
- What happens
- Final polish, rhodium where specified, fineness stamp and your maker's mark if supplied. Quality control checks stone security, measurements against the spec, weight and finish.
- You receive
- A QC report with photographs and the final weight, before the piece is packed.
- Your part
- Approve for shipping.
Shipping
- What happens
- Insured express, door to door, with export invoice, origin declarations and the documents your market needs. Assay-ready for UK hallmarking where required.
- You receive
- Tracking and the document file by email, so your broker has everything before the parcel lands.
- Transit
- Three to six working days depending on destination. See the market pages.
Every order, visible.
Each order follows the same seven stages, so you always know where a piece is and what comes next. Until the client portal opens, you receive the same updates by email and WhatsApp at every stage.
