Read a grading report in counter language.

Photograph a GIA or IGI report, or upload the PDF. The desk reads the grades, says what they mean for how the stone will look on the hand, and writes the brief to source it or a close match. No prices, no guesses: only what is printed.

Report reader

Upload the report.

A phone photograph with the whole report in frame is enough. JPG, PNG, WebP or PDF, under 4 MB. The image is read once and not stored.

What the desk reads first Beyond the four Cs

Proportions

Depth and table decide how a stone faces up for its weight. A deep stone looks smaller than its carat; a well-proportioned one looks its size and returns more light.

Fluorescence

Faint or none is neutral. Medium or strong blue on a high colour can look milky in daylight; on a lower colour it can make the stone face up whiter.

Clarity characteristics

The grade says how much; the plot says where. A feather under the table and a pinpoint near the girdle are not the same VS1.

Colour against metal

D to F for platinum and white gold where the client wants ice. G to H disappears into yellow or rose gold and saves the budget for size.

Have the desk find the match.

Send the report or the brief. Two or three stones, with reports and videos, within one working day.
